An inventive player of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom built a hover bike that features a laser barrier made from Zonai devices. This vehicle takes the typical hover bike that players have created in Tears of the Kingdom and turns it into a defensive weapon capable of killing Bokoblins.

In the penultimate trailer released for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, fans fully learned the idea of creating vehicles in the game from Zonai devices. After the game's release, players were quick to create the most efficient vehicle to traverse the lands of Hyrule: the hover bike. The typical hover bike can be created using only two Zonai fans and a steering rod. Players can create more complex hover bikes by adding more fans and adjusting each one's angles. Using the auto-build function, players can quickly construct a hover bike from Zonaite and fly wherever they want.
Reddit user divlogue took the hover bike concept to a whole new level by adding a barrier made of Beam Emitter Zonai devices found in Tears of the Kingdom. In the video posted, Link is seen riding down the Tarrey Town Highway on a large hover bike, which is surrounded by floating Beam Emitters aimed at the ground. As Link rides, the emitters spin extremely quickly, creating a protective barrier during combat. The video then cuts to the Hyrule field, where Link tests the laser barrier by riding through a group of Bokoblins, killing some of the weaker ones almost instantly. In the final section of the video, Link is seen flying high in the air, in the middle of a group of enemies, spraying death from above.

Divlogue managed to make the Beam Emitters rotate in the air using a technique called “stake nudging”. Stake nudging in Tears of the Kingdom allows players to create an invisible connection between two or more objects. Stake nudging requires a lot of patience to achieve, with divlogue noting that it took about 30 minutes to make this setup work correctly.
This hover bike was not the first time divlogue used stake nudging in a viral video. divlogue is also the player of Tears of the Kingdom who is responsible for the President Hudson hover bike, a vehicle that used stake nudging to hover four President Hudson signs around its diagonal axes. As this technique becomes increasingly popular, Tears of the Kingdom fans will surely see some truly incredible designs they never believed were possible.
