The Multiview feature will allow you to watch up to four live sports games at the same time.
Apple TV is finally giving users the ability to watch multiple sports games at once. On Thursday, Apple announced that Apple TV 4K devices now let you watch up to four Major League Soccer or Friday Night Baseball games in the Apple TV app.

This feature is useful if two of your favorite teams are playing at the same time and you don't want to keep switching back and forth between games. Once you've selected the games you want to watch, Apple will let you customize your viewing layout with multiple options, allowing you to zoom in on one game while the rest remain small. You can also choose to watch two to four games in a split-screen, as well as change your audio preferences. Apple says MLS 360 and MLB Big Inning also support multiple views.

The MLS Season Pass, which has no obnoxious blackouts, requires a $15/month (or $99/season) subscription to watch and use multiview. (Apple TV+ subscribers pay a little less, $13/month or $79/season.) Additionally, Apple is offering a one-month trial for new and returning subscribers through the end of October. In the meantime, Friday Night Baseball is available to all Apple TV+ subscribers.
Apple appears to have been working on multiview for some time, with developer Steve Moser first finding references to multiview in Apple code in March and Apple quietly launching a multiview beta last month. YouTube TV also began testing a similar multiview feature earlier this year.
The launch of multi-view is included in tvOS 16.5, which was released alongside the release of iOS 16.5 which adds a Sports to Apple News.
