This time, a Redditor shared how the Apple Watch Series 7 prevented him from succumbing to gastrointestinal bleeding.
The user says: “I ate lunch and felt tired so I lay down on the couch to take a nap. Shortly after, my Apple Watch alerted me ten times about my elevated heart rate.”
After his condition did not improve, he arranged a video call with his doctor and received instructions to check his pulse, ECG, and oxygen levels. After further medical examination, it became clear that 911 should be called immediately due to extreme internal bleeding.

I had a hemoglobin of just over 3 g/dL, and my normal is around 15. The emergency medical services initially thought it was a heart attack – however, upon further examination they discovered that the source of the bleeding was from my gastrointestinal (GI) tract. If I hadn’t received an immediate transfusion, they said my condition would have been serious. Thankfully, the amazing nurses and doctors, as well as everyone who donated blood, saved me from certain death. But if it hadn’t been for my Apple Watch alerting me in time to seek help, I wouldn’t be here today – a true testament to its life-saving power!
