ChatGPT dynamically entered our lives and more and more industries are experimenting with it every day.
The launch of OpenAI’s ChatGPT, an AI chatbot trained on a massive amount of data and released in November 2022, has created widespread concern and interest about the potential impact of artificial intelligence on the workplace. As time goes by, more and more professionals are asking themselves: “ How will ChatGPT shape my profession ? ” As a result, discussions around the topic have intensified.
Several industries are concerned about the potential impact of AI. For example, educators and academics have expressed concern about the potential misuse of the tool for copying or plagiarism. One publication even talked about the end of homework as we know it. But despite all this, others still see how AI can be beneficial in learning environments – they continue to imagine ways in which AI could improve educational outcomes.
We still haven’t decided (and may never do) whether we should trust the capabilities of AI and ChatGPT or whether we should be afraid. Traveland tourism industry
In order to evaluate the quality of its travel advice, Travel Weekly – an industry magazine – tried to compare ChatGPT to an experienced travel advisor. The AI provided reliable answers to questions like “What is the best luxury hotel in a particular place?” – however, it couldn’t match the experience of a professional advisor and the connection with a customer.
Legal branch
ChatGPT is already being tested in the courtroom .Judge Juan Manuel Padilla Garcia of Colombia became the first judge to use an AI tool to make a court decision. Specifically, he used ChatGPT to help him answer some legal questions about his case and then included those answers in his decision. This marks an incredible milestone for both AI technology and the judicial system!
Additionally, ChatGPT seems to be able to help with drafting simple legal documents. For example, a lawyer from New Zealand asked the AI chatbot to write his will.
Legislation
Last month, ChatGPT drafted a bill to regulate generative artificial intelligence and filed it in Massachusetts. While there was some human input, Senator Barry Finegold said that more than half of the text was generated by the AI chatbot.
Real estate industry
With ChatGPT, real estate agents can easily create compelling property summaries with a few simple keywords. After a few quick adjustments by a human, these descriptions are ready to be shared and posted!
Construction industry
ChatGPT is able to generate schedules that fit the scope of simple construction projects. Academics from New York University-Abu Dhabi provided the AI with a floor plan, a task list, and a scope statement .They found that, while not perfect, ChatGPT was able to help with basic project management.

Wistia companythat specializes in video marketing, is experimenting with AI-powered video creation from start to finish. ChatGPT wrote the script for a promotional video. The tool was asked to create a 60-second YouTube-style script about making apple pie. The result, according to the person who tested it, was “an incredible starting point for a video script.”
Technology sector
Developers are experimenting with ChatGPT's ability to write good code quickly. One developer was able to create an entire app using the AI tool, although the output required some human intervention.
Cybercriminals are also trying to exploit ChatGPT by creating malware. What's more worrying is that some are doing it without any prior experience.

Recently, medical professionals and academics tested ChatGPT’s ability to diagnose patients. One doctor praised the tool’s accuracy as “scary”—however, he noted that some of the data it provided was incorrect or even entirely fabricated by the robot—which is why in a field with such critical implications as healthcare, doctors won’t be relying entirely on AI for diagnostic assessment anytime soon.

Many news organizations have already experimented with asking ChatGPT to write articles. However, the AI’s training data only includes information up to 2021, making it currently incapable of writing about current events.
It's clear that more and more industries are starting to experiment with ChatGPT to see how it could help improve customer and deliver better services faster and easier. The success it has already had has many wondering if they should be worried about jobs .
