Update your birthday to fix an age-restricted bug on TikTok
To troubleshoot age restriction errors and correct your birth date information on your TikTok account, follow these steps.
Launch the TikTok app on your phone and select "Profile" in the bottom right corner.

On your profile page, in the top right corner, tap the menu (three horizontal lines) and select “Settings and Privacy.”

Scroll down to the following page and click “Report a Problem.”

In the “Topics” section, select “Account and Profile.”

On the next page, select Editing Profile > Other.

Click “Need More Help?”

On the screen that opens, tap the “Tell Us Your Feedback” text field and type in your question. You’ll want to say something like “I would like to update my date of birth on my TikTok account and I can provide a valid ID to prove my actual date of birth.”.

When you have typed your message, press “Submit” to send the message.

TikTok will process your request and get back to you in a few days. You will be asked to provide a valid ID showing your date of birth. Once you provide this document, the platform should update your date of birth in your account. Then you will be good to go.
