OnePlus was founded in 2013 with the goal of creating an affordable yet powerful smartphone that could compete with other brands like Apple and Samsung. OnePlus has had a significant impact on the smartphone industry since its inception. For starters, it forced other companies to lower their prices or risk losing customers to OnePlus’ more affordable offerings. It also forced these companies to pay more attention to user feedback when designing new products in order to remain competitive. Finally, OnePlus’ success inspired other companies like Xiaomi and Honor to follow suit and focus on providing high-quality devices at competitive prices.
