Apple has released iOS 16.0.3, a minor update that brings fixes for some of the bugs that have been plaguing since users the release of iOS 16. The iOS 16.0.3 update follows iOS 16.0.2, which also fixed some bugs on iPhone 14 models .

You can download the iOS 16.0.3 update on your iPhone by going to Settings > General > Software Update. The build number for the new update is 20A392. It's available for any iPhone that can run iOS 16 (iPhone 8 and later).

With the iOS 16.0.3 update, Apple is addressing several issues that users over the past few weeks, specifically since installing iOS 16.
The new minor release brings important security and fixes for the following:
- Incoming calls and app notifications may be delayed or not delivered on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max
- Delays in opening the camera and switching between modes are observed on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max
- Low microphone volume is observed during CarPlay on iPhone 14 models
- Mail crashes on startup after receiving a malformed email

These are some of the issues addressed in iOS 16.0.3. The bug in CarPlay caused iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max users to experience low volume levels when trying to make a hands-free phone call in a vehicle. The person making the call sounded like they were speaking very softly or from a distance, making it difficult to hear.
Regarding the camera issue, some users reported delays of up to four or five seconds before the Camera app would start working.

There was also a persistent issue with flickering screen, but it's unclear if this issue is addressed with the new update.
iOS 16.0.3 will likely be followed by iOS 16.1, which is set to be released alongside iPadOS 16.1 in the near future.
