Telegram , one of the most popular messaging apps , is set to launch a premium plan soon. It is a subscription-based project called “ Telegram Premium .”
Telegram is offered completely free of charge, although the company is exploring ways to increase revenue.

In 2021, Pavel Durov, the founder of Telegram Messenger, confirmed that he was exploring new ways to place ads in public channel posts. According to the company, Telegram's experimental ads will be short posts with a limit of just 160 characters and will not include external links, but the ads will link to a specific channel.
In addition to official ads in the messaging, Telegram will be bringing a new premium subscription.

The company plans to launch a subscription platform that will start at $4.99 and reduce the limitations of the messaging app. However, full details about Telegram's new premium plan are not available at this time.

A Telegram channel, which tracks new features coming to the platform, shared a list of changes coming to the platform:

Uploading a 4 GB file: Telegram currently allows uploading files up to 2 GB in size.
