The BlackBerry KEY2 Design could be resurrected by a company called Unihertz. This is the company behind the “Titan” smartphone. That device had a physical keyboard, a large battery, and the BlackBerry Passport form factor.

Unihertz plans to revive the BlackBerry KEY2 design
Unihertz made a post on Twitter that mentions its upcoming smartphone, as you can see below. It shared a rather dark image in which you can see a physical laptop keyboard and a physical keyboard of a smartphone-like device.
This image, by itself, doesn't say much. If you check the comments, however, you'll see that people have revealed what's lurking in the dark (the image you can see below). A smartphone that definitely looks like the BlackBerry KEY2.
It will have a noticeably larger screen than the Titan and a more normal aspect ratio. A physical keyboard will be located below this screen, as well as a fingerprint scanner.

A capacitive fingerprint scanner will be included
The fingerprint scanner will be included in the button below the keyboard. On the Titan, it was implemented inside the spacebar. This time, it will almost certainly be placed under the screen.
As some of you may already know, OnwardMobility was expected to release a new BlackBerry smartphone with 5G, but that will never happen. It was recently confirmed that the plans have been scrapped.
So, if you're looking for a smartphone with a physical keyboard, this is probably the closest you'll get to actually owning a new BlackBerry smartphone. We're not sure when Unihertz will officially confirm this smartphone, but the company has said it's coming soon.

It will also be interesting to see how big its battery will be. The Titan had an excellent battery size for its needs, so it remains to be seen what will happen this time.
