Following the February security patch, some Pixel 6 and 6 Pro owners have been experiencing Wi-Fi issues. Google today confirmed the Pixel 6 Wi-Fi issue and said it will be fixed with the upcoming March update.

The problem is that Wi-Fi automatically turns off when Pixel 6 devices are locked or not turned on at all. Google says its investigation has found the root cause and that it "affects a very small number of devices."

A software fix has been developed and will be released with the Google Pixel Update in March.

For those who can't wait, Google is telling affected users to contact support. Many have found that installing Android 12L Beta 3 fixes the issue.

Google released a mid-cycle February update last week, but that didn't solve the problem for users. Verizon's changelog had only this to say:
