However, now the company appears to have changed the white noise sound last week and many have expressed their disappointment with the update, as reported by 9to5Google.
The change seems to have upset many people who use the digital assistant, as evidenced by this thread , which has more than 150 replies. Some described the new white noise sound as quieter or muffled. One person said their child asked to use another white noise generator instead of the Google Nest Hub. Another said their toddler noticed the change and wakes up during the night.

Google did not immediately respond to a request for comment. It is unclear whether the company plans to adjust the white noise sound in any way to address the complaints that arose from the change.
If you want to go back to the old white noise sound right now, a user on Reddit has uploaded an hour-long track and longer versions of it to Google Drive, which you could theoretically use as an alternative.
