There’s a new Start, new icons (the “Sun Valley” interface update), and a widget button on the taskbar. You’ll also need to sign in with a Microsoft account, unless you’re upgrading to Windows 11 Professional.

Other news expected to be announced is the cost of the upgrade, which is initially believed to be free. The announcement of a revamped version of the Microsoft Store, with a greater emphasis on desktop applications, is also possible.
