As US media reported on Friday, the conclusion of a classified US intelligence report on the existence of extraterrestrial UFOs is rather unclear.

The US military and intelligence agencies have found no evidence to suggest that the seemingly highly advanced unidentified flying objects seen by military pilots were alien spacecraft, the report concludes, according to The New York Times and other media outlets.
But he also could not explain dozens of phenomena and incidents, some of which were videotaped by the pilots, and thus could not rule out the existence of UFOs.
According to The New York Times, anonymous senior administration officials found that the more than 120 incidents over the past 20 years had nothing to do with unknown or secret U.S. military or government technology. Nor were they associated with objects such as research balloons, which some claim were behind the reports.
But it also can't explain what it was that U.S. Navy pilots saw when they recorded objects traveling at seemingly supersonic speeds, spinning and mysteriously disappearing.
While speculation about extraterrestrial life has long been an industry for conspiracy theorists, the sheer number of what the Pentagon classifies as unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) has made it a serious issue, amid concerns that US adversaries such as China and Russia may be using unknown, highly advanced surveillance technologies.

“ We take all intrusions into our operational areas seriously ,” Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said Friday .
"They could potentially involve security or national security concerns," he said of the UFO reports the Department of Defense has recorded.
The report, which was made last year, will be submitted to Congress by the end of June by the director of national intelligence.
The main report may be made public, but there will also be a classified annex, which will remain secret.
The report, according to The Washington Post, “will not offer specific conclusions about what the objects could be…”
Interest in the possibility of highly intelligent alien life has grown since the Pentagon released videos last year in which Navy pilots express their surprise at the fast-moving objects they see.
Added to this were comments from senior officials with access to information, including former President Barak Obama, and an interview they conducted with the pilots about what they saw.

"What is true - and it's actually serious - is that there are footage and records of objects in the sky that we don't know exactly what they are," Obama said on The Late Late Show on May 17.
“There are many more screenings than have been made public,” John Ratcliffe, who was director of national intelligence for the last eight months of Donald Trump’s administration, told Fox News in March.
“There are cases where we don't have good explanations for some of the things we've seen.“
Luis Elizondo, who worked on the Pentagon's investigation into the UAP and urged it to reveal what it knows, said that some of the videos depict highly advanced UFO technology, unknown to humans.
“It is time to release the full report, videos, and data we have seen at the Pentagon.“
