Microsoft Teams can quickly become cluttered with groups, channels, tabs, conversations, and meetings. Remembering where you saw something can be difficult, so there's a special list for the last 12 "places" you visited.
If you're familiar with the back and forward buttons in web browsers, then you'll feel right at home using the navigation buttons located in the top left corner of Teams.
These work as you would expect: Click the “<” arrow to return to the last location you visited in Microsoft Teams, and select “>” to move forward again.

However, Microsoft hides the History menu. To see it, hover your mouse over the navigation buttons and Teams will display a menu of the last 12 places in the communication app you visited.

Click on the location you want to go to and it will open immediately. Even if you know where you want to go, sometimes it's much faster to use the History menu to jump to a group or channel you've visited before.
