The number of households and businesses across Greece that have access to 100% fiber to the home (FTTH) through COSMOTE Fiber [1] , the largest fiber optic network in the country, has exceeded 300,000 , with COSMOTE achieving the ambitious goal it had set for the expansion of the fiber optic network by the end of 2020.

Even more areas – 500,000 FTTH by the end of the year
Continuing its dynamic investments in the development and expansion of the fiber optic network, COSMOTE "activated" 14 additional new areas in the Greek territory, with access to ultra-high speeds and the unlimited possibilities of fiber to the home. Furthermore, the Fiber to the Home infrastructure is expanding to even more households and businesses in areas where fiber has already been activated and launched.
Starting from the North, Orestiada , Florina and Grevena now have the ability to connect to 100% fiber optic to the socket , while FTTH was extended to even more households and businesses in Drama and Kastoria. Larissa and Lesvos gained access to guaranteed speeds of 100 & 200Mbps, while in the Peloponnese, Aigio and Nafplio were added . In Attica, the areas of Ampelokipi , Zografou , Elefsina , Lavrio and Spata gained access to FTTH infrastructure via COSMOTE Fiber .
At the end of January, Igoumenitsa and Livadia were added , bringing the available FTTH lines to 325,000 , while the target-challenge for the year is 500,000 lines throughout the country. Thanks to the continuous expansion of the network, OTE Group remains first in population coverage , having installed over 77% of the country's total FTTH lines .
Guaranteed speeds of 100 & 200Mbps, from €28.90
COSMOTE offers theCOSMOTE Double Play Fiberspeed 100 & 200Mbps from €28.90[1] per month, providing guaranteed ultra-high speeds of 100 & 200Mbps with the possibility of upgrading to 1Gbps in the future.
The price is formed in combination with the special subsidy of a total amount of €360 of the Superfast Broadband action of the Ministry of Digital Governance. The action is implemented using the voucher method, which subsidizes the fixed fee of the COSMOTE Double Play Fiberspeed programs with €13/month, for a period of 24 months and the one-time connection cost with €482. For businesses, COSMOTE offers the COSMOTE Business Double Play Fiberspeed Basic & Full Pack from €39.902per month, combined with the special subsidy for FTTH connection, through the Superfast Broadband action.
