ESET has been recognized for the first time globally as a “Champion” in cybersecurity according to Canalys’ 2019 Cybersecurity Leadership Matrix.
At the same time, it occupied one of the top positions in "Best Software Companies" list for the EMEA region, a ranking that is derived by taking into account the evaluations of more than 66,000 users for software products.
Canalys is a technology market analysis firm that emphasizes the partner channel.
The Cybersecurity Leadership Matrix evaluated 15 cybersecurity solution vendors based on their global channel performance over the past 12 months.
The table is derived from partner evaluation data provided by Canalys' Vendor Benchmark tool, combined with data from independent analyses on each manufacturer's channel dynamics, as derived from investments, strategy, market performance and operations.
ESET was one of only five manufacturers to be recognized globally as a “Champion,” along with Cisco, Sophos, Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet.
Companies ranked as “Champions” have the highest scores in Canalys’ Vendor Benchmark and display common characteristics, including actions to improve and simplify channel processes and a proven commitment to growing partner revenue.
Champions must also have made sustainable investments in the future of the models they implement in their channels, such as programs and initiatives.
At the same time, the G2 site, which hosts product reviews from users from around the world, helping businesses make smart purchasing decisions, gave ESET the 4thplace in its ranking of the best software companies, after evaluating approximately 900 companies serving the EMEA region.
G2 hosts approximately 750,000 user reviews, more than 80,000 products, and over 1,600 technology and service categories, making ESET's recognition an outstanding achievement.
