Microsoft's transition to a modern operating system has created additional challenges for the company, as Windows 10 bridges two different systems that should work seamlessly with each other.
We're talking about the classic Win32 interface and the optimized touch with Fluent Design.
However, in this attempt at connectivity, Microsoft apparently got lost somewhere and the result is what we see in Windows 10 right now.
The image above is worth looking at. Notice the small details that show the consistency of the new Windows 10 UI. The user interface in Windows 10 uses eight different shades of gray, which are applied to different parts of the operating system.
Reddit user bluejeans7 who created the photo says he created it with classic Microsoft Paint because Paint 3D is much more complicated. Paint 3D is part of Microsoft's push into modern apps.
Without a doubt, Microsoft is well aware of this mess, and if it has forgotten, there are photos like the one above that instantly go viral and remind it of it. It will be interesting to see how the Windows 10 UI will shape up tomorrow, but for now, Microsoft should focus on fixing the operating system's bugs.
