The popular KeePass application has just released version 2.40. For those who don't know the application, it is a password manager that stores data encrypted locally.
It is the password manager that I use and highly recommend as I don't like the idea of my passwords in the cloud.
Of course, the application has plugins if you want to extend its functions, such as synchronizing your data between different devices.
If you are already using the application, simply check for new updates and you will be able to upgrade it. Those who do not use it can download it from the link at the end of the post.
The software is usually available as an .exe installer but also a portable version.
KeePass 2.40 comes with new features and fixes for the most part. Several improvements have been made regarding the checking of existing passwords.
