The developers of BlackArch Linux, an Arch-based operating system aimed at ethical hackers and penetration testers, have announced the release of new snapshot ISOs.
The new BlackArch Linux ISOs carry the version number 2017.11.24 and the distribution's blog provides the following announcement:
“Today we released new ISO images for BlackArch Linux. The changelog:
Added over 50 new tools. Various improvements and tweaks. Updated BlackArch installer to version 0.6. Includes kernel 4.13.12. Updated all BlackBerry tools and packages. Updated all system packages as well as all window manager menus (Awesome, Fluxbox, Openbox).”
“We want to thank all BlackArch users, the mirrors (mirrors) and its supporters.”
BlackArch Linux is available in Live and net-install versions. The download options include a dual-layer live image (dual-layer DVD) or an installation from the internet.
