New Hashcat 3.6: Hashcat is one of the fastest password cracking tools that uses GPU to “decode” md5crypt, phpass, mscash2 and WPA/WPA2.
The first and only one that uses GPGPU rule engine.
Those of you who are familiar with the tool, and are looking for oclHashcat-plus, should know that this particular version has been discontinued (long ago), but all its services are available in oclHashcat.
The application runs on all versions of Windows and Linux, both 32 and 64 bit.
iGuru.gr presents this specific tool to protect your systems and ONLY for this reason. We are against any kind of malicious use of the tool.
It should be mentioned that Jens Steube, creator of the Hashcat cracking toolkit, announced that his application and all its derivatives will from now on be available under an open source license.
“The ultimate reason I decided to open source was the implementation of bitsliced DES GPU kernels,” Steube says on his website’s forum.
“To achieve maximum efficiency and performance, the salt must be integrated into the kernel during compilation […] This means that the kernel must be compiled at runtime by the user’s system. This kind of tuning, with the kernel adapting according to the salt/hash, is only possible if the source code is available.”
