Well-known hacker TheFlow recently revealed an interesting piece of news about the PS4. Specifically, he identified a kernel vulnerability on the PS4, which has been patched between firmware 5.05 and 6.20.
Even if you have one of the firmwares that has not been patched, the hacker assures that the vulnerability cannot be exploited.

There is no doubt, however, that many hackers out there will try to exploit the vulnerability. However, considering TheFlow's statement and the fact that the vulnerability does not affect recent firmwares, there is no reason to worry.
In other news, Apple announced at WWDC 2019 that it plans to support the most popular gaming controllers from Sony and Microsoft. Specifically, the Apple TV will support Xbox One and PS4 controllers, via the new tvOS update. It comes to iPhones with the iOS 13 update and to laptops via MacOS Catalina.
