The need for security is essential in every part of everyday life as hackers are always finding new ways to violate your privacy. Over the years and with the continuous development of technology, more and more devices are connected to the internet and serve needs. Unfortunately, it also hides many risks. Google, for example, which were created, among other things, for monitoring places or people, have been observed to be easily hacked. Of course, the company is aware of the situation and is trying to protect its customers.
An incident of a family who had placed such a camera in their child's room, which was hacked by a stranger, became public. Specifically, they heard him talking to their child. It is now becoming clear that the existing security measures are not enough, which is why additional ones are being created.

One such means is two-factor authentication. This control provides another level of security beyond the classic way of logging in using a username and password to confirm the user's identity on a device. This method essentially protects against any theft of the Username & Password, since these are NO longer enough to log in to one's account. Even if someone manages to steal the account password, it will be impossible to log in without two-factor authentication.
The ability to connect more and more devices to each other on a network creates many risks. This is because many devices become easier targets for hackers, who can compromise them and use them to their advantage. One defense that has been created for this purpose is VLAN. VLAN stands for Virtual Local Area Network and is essentially the segmentation of a local network so that the user of one part does not have access to another part of the network.
The best solution is the DMZ (demilitarized zone). It is essentially an isolated part of the network, which cannot touch any other part of the network. So although it does not eliminate the risk, it certainly limits it.
