Godzilla, who returns to the big screen later this month, is also set to invade your living rooms through a raffle that will give away exclusive custom Xbox One X consoles.
Microsoft said in an Xbox Wire post that it has created four custom Xbox One X consoles in collaboration with Warner Bros. The consoles' designs are inspired by "the beauty of Mothra, the volcanic fury of Rodan, King Ghidorah, and the King of Monsters Godzilla himself.".
To enter the Godzilla: King of the Xbox One X Custom Console contest, participants must be at least 14 years old and must be a resident of any region supported by Xbox Live. There is no purchase necessary to enter – all they need to do is follow the official Xbox Twitter and retweet the promotional post with the hashtag GodzillaXboxSweepstakes.
Entries will be accepted until June 7, after which Microsoft will randomly select four lucky winners to win limited edition Xbox One X consoles.
The monster designs for the Xbox One X consoles are truly outstanding. Legendary Pictures released the latest trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters in late April, showing Godzilla battling Mothra, Rodan, and King Guideorah.
Microsoft isn't the first to partner with the Xbox One, with one of the most recent and memorable being with Taco Bell. Last year, gamers in the US had the chance to win around 5,000 units of a limited edition Xbox One X with the purchase of a Taco Bell box. The Xbox One X came with Taco Bell's famous "bong" sound every time the console booted up, and also came with a unique wireless Xbox Elite.
