Honor has unveiled (in China) a new variant of the Honor Magic 2, which is called the Honor Magic 2 3D.
The Honor Magic 2 3D features a 3D camera on the front, which replaces the 2MP depth sensor found on the Magic 2. It offers 3D scanning and secure facial recognition even in low-light conditions.
The smartphone features a slider design. If you slide the slider, three cameras (16MP, 2MP, and 2MP) will appear on the front. There are also three cameras on the back (16MP, 16MP, and 24MP).
Another special feature is the presence of a graphene-based cooling system that helps to better dissipate heat so that no problem arises even if the phone is used for many hours.
The smartphone features a 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. It is powered by a Kirin 980 processor and has 8GB of RAM and 512GB of built-in storage. It is backed by a 3,500mAh battery with 40W fast charging and runs Magic UI 2.0, based on Android 9.0 Pie.
Additionally, the smartphone features an in-display fingerprint scanner. Interestingly, there is no 3.5mm headphone jack and no microSD slot.
The Honor Magic 2 3D costs CNY 5,799 and is available via V-Mall.
