Microsoft is reportedly ready to release Windows 10 Redstone 4 (or Windows 10 Spring Creators Update) again, as the company has just pushed the RTM build to all rings (distribution channels) of the Windows Insider program.
Thus, Windows 10 build 17134 is now available for download and installation for registered users in the Release Preview (Fast and Slow), which means that Microsoft is very close to completing the RTM testing process before the official release.
In case no major bugs are found, the distribution of the new operating system in the form of updates will begin from next Tuesday. The update to build 17134 will be completed gradually, as Microsoft usually does for all new major OS updates.
Microsoft has already postponed the release of Windows 10 Redstone 4 once when it discovered a blocking bug that caused BSODs in the previous RTM version (build 17133). So the company decided to release build 17134 as a new RTM instead of publishing a cumulative update that fixed build 17133.
It seems that the bug has been fixed, and Microsoft is adding the finishing touches to the new RTM before the public rollout begins.
What we don't know yet, as Microsoft has not officially stated anything, is the name of the new update.
Redstone 4 is the codename that the company uses internally and many believe that the new updated version of Windows 10 could be called Windows 10 Spring Creators Update. It remains to be seen what Microsoft will decide.
Of course, after all that has happened, we do not recommend installing it directly on a system that you use for your work. However, if you want to try the new operating system, read how you can do it directly from the following publication:
