Earlier this week, we saw the unveiling of three new iPhone – the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR along with the Apple Watch 4, which were unveiled at the Apple Fall Event held in Cupertino.
As you would expect from Apple, all the new devices are extremely expensive, to the point that Xiaomi took the opportunity to throw some mud at Apple by showing off the number of its products that you can buy for the price of the new iPhones.
The company has begun releasing new product packages in China, named “XR Suit”, “XS Suit” and “XS Max Set”, inspired by the new iPhone models.
Each of these three product bundles includes a smartphone, a laptop, a fitness band, and an audio product! To mock Apple, the price of each bundle is the same as the starting price of the iPhone models of the same name.
XR suit
The XR bundle includes a Xiaomi Mi 8 SE smartphone, a 12.5-inch Mi Notebook Air, a Mi Band 3, and a Mi Bluetooth Mini headset. It is priced at CNY 6,499, which is roughly the same as the starting price of the iPhone XR.
XS Suit
The XS bundle offers the Mi MIX 2S smartphone, 13.3-inch Notebook Air mini, Mi Band 3, and Mi Bluetooth Mini headset. It is priced at CNY 8,699, which is the same as the iPhone XS 64GB in China.
XS Max Set
The third bundle is the XS Max Set which includes the Mi 8 smartphone, Mi Notebook Pro laptop, Mi Band 3, and Mi Bluetooth neckband. This bundle of products costs CNY 9,999, almost the price of the base iPhone XS model in China.
