Microsoft is working on two new, different consoles, one of which could be cloud-based, offering similar performance at lower prices.
According to a new report, AMD could be the company that Microsoft chose to be responsible for the hardware of the new console, although for now the details remain hidden.
As we mentioned above, Microsoft is expected to release two different models, a high-end console that will be based on the same approach as the current Xbox One, and a second version that will mix local hardware power with a cloud-based engine.

The cloud-based version, from a technical standpoint, will have lower requirements as the cloud system will be responsible for performance.
Therefore, we will have a seamless gaming experience at a lower price, as the total cost we have to pay for the hardware will be significantly reduced.
Note that the device will most likely include AMD.
Needless to say, the project is still in its early days, so a lot can change before it's officially announced. Previous reports have suggested that Microsoft's next-gen console could be announced sometime around 2020, but that depends on a number of factors, such as how quickly development progresses with the hardware partners.
