While the number of bugs in the Windows 10 April 2018 Update is massive (and grows daily), some of them appear to take up more space compared to the others.
As mentioned yesterday, some users who upgrade to Windows 10 April 2018 Update and run Avast antivirus end up with their computers crashing, due to a compatibility issue that has arisen with this particular security solution. Quite a few users also report that their systems can no longer boot, resulting in a black screen.
Avast said that it investigated all these reports and concluded that the antivirus cannot be blamed for these problems.
“We have tested this and have not been able to identify any issues that specifically affect Avast Antivirus consumers. User feedback online indicates that many are experiencing issues updating to Windows 10 '1803'. We cannot rule out that a small number of Avast users may be experiencing difficulties updating, but we see no indication that this is caused by Avast,” the company said.
Microsoft ,and it is also very likely that a cumulative update for the Windows 10 April 2018 Update will be offered to users.
