HeartMonitor: If you own an Apple Watch and ever want to record your heart rate and rhythm in stressful situations, like when you're stressed, there's now a free app that takes the guesswork out of it.
Australian iOS and watchOSZachary Simone has created an app called HeartMonitor that could save your life one day. At its core, the app is designed to record your so-called heart rate sessions from the Apple Watch's heart rate sensor.
HeartMonitor can be useful in stressful situations, such as when watching a horror movie or when you have a presentation or conference, as well as other moments of intense excitement. The app will record your heart rate and save the data on iPhone .

Zachary Simone said he created HeartMonitor because of the lack of a dedicated heart rate monitoring feature in watchOS, the Apple Watch operating system, in an effort to help more people find out if something is wrong with their heart before it's too late. Of course, heart rate data can be interpreted by a doctor.
All heart rate recordings can be named according to the occasion they were recorded in the companion iPhone app, which will present you with a list of recorded sessions including detailed information and statistics. HeartMonitor is available to download for both iPhone and Apple Watch and can be downloaded now from the Apple Store.
