Hacker: While the Fappening scandal mostly involved celebrities whose iCloud were hacked, a similar incident occurred in the Netherlands targeting the women's handball team.
According to local reports, the hackers managed to breach the locker room surveillance camera system and then publish the recordings on adult websites last December.
Although it is strange that a camera system is used in the changing rooms, the owner of the sauna who provided the space said that the company suffered a breach in 2015 when hackers managed to infiltrate the network and steal private files.
The hackers contacted the sauna employees, threatening to upload the stolen videos to the internet if the cameras were not turned off.

"I received a message containing a photo and video from one of the security cameras. The offenders warned that the images would be posted online in 14 days if I did not remove the cameras immediately," the owner said.
Despite disabling the cameras, the hackers decided to publish the videos last December on adult websites. In total, seven women are said to appear in the images, some of them completely naked. It is not known at this point whether there were requests to remove the content.
So far there are no details on how exactly the attackers managed to infiltrate the network and steal the video. Local officials are now offering assurances that there will be no further breach, as all cameras have been removed, in accordance with local law.
