Amazon has a holiday gift for its Prime members.
The online retailer has launched free one-day and same-day shipping for its Prime members throughout the holidays.
That means Amazoncan order their Christmas gifts as early as Dec. 24 if they order before 9:30 a.m. local time, though some later orders may be allowed. The last order for Christmas last year was placed at 10:23 a.m. on Christmas Eve, according to the company.
While Prime members always get unlimited free two-day shipping, free same-day shipping is only available from today until December 24th at 11:59 p.m. For non-Prime customers, same-day delivery costs $8.99 plus $0.99 per item.
There's one catch, though: Your order must be over $35 to qualify for free shipping. Plus, the company claims that over 100 million products are eligible for the offer.
Amazon's Whole Foods stores and Amazon Books stores will also be open on December 24th, selling gifts and gift wrapping for last-minute shoppers. All customers can shop at these locations, though Prime members will get the biggest discounts on Amazon books.
