The latest version of WhatsApp released on the App Store for iPhone and iPad devices brings two new, cool features that many of you will surely find useful.
WhatsApp is arguably the world's most popular messaging app available for iPhone and other smartphones. WhatsApp can also be used as a phone app to make phone calls over Wi-Fi as well as send photos, videos, and audio messages to your contacts.
The latest version, WhatsApp 2.17.81, has been released on the App Store for Apple’s iOS powered iPhone devices bringing the ability to record longer audio messages. All you need to do to record long audio messages on WhatsApp is simply swipe up and lock the recording.
And the good news doesn't stop there. While up until now you had to click on a YouTube video to watch it in the YouTube for iOS app on your iPhone, with the WhatsApp 2.17.81 update, you can now play YouTube videos your friends have sent you directly in the app. Best of all, there's also picture-in-picture support so you can message and watch videos at the same time.
If you use WhatsApp on your iPhone, update it from the App Store to enjoy longer audio messages and YouTube videos with PiP. WhatsApp Messenger is free and compatible with all iPhone devices running iOS 7.0 or later, Apple's mobile operating system.
