We've seen plenty of reviews of the new iPhone X and even a few videos showing off the phone itself, but now some new details have been released about Face ID on Apple's new iPhone.
On iPhones with a fingerprint scanner, you can register more than one person. However, this is not the case with the new model and Face ID.
On the iPhone X, you can only register one person's face for Face ID, as Apple claimed that the number of people registering more than one person for fingerprint recognition on the iPhone is apparently very low.
One major limitation of Face ID: It only allows one person to enroll. This may seem like an unnecessary limitation to many, given that Touch ID allows users to enroll up to 10 fingerprints. However Applesays it has found that the number of people who enroll more than one fingerprint is very small.
So, it seems like there's no way to do multiple user sign-ups on the new iPhone X, with Face ID. Instead, you'll have to enter a passcode to unlock the device, so it's not really that big of a deal. Apple's new iPhone launches this Friday, and from what we've seen so far, this could be the most popular iPhone Apple has released yet.
