Dell Technologies' Digital Transformation Index has shown that, although executives are aware of the power and importance of designing a digital strategy and gradually transitioning to modern, innovative technologies that improve production and efficiency, they may not have taken the necessary actions.
The data shows that, of the nearly 3/4 of decision makers from around the world who believe that digital transformation could be more widespread in their businesses, only 1/3 have committed to implementing the necessary actions for digital business.
Furthermore, 45 percent of businesses globally are seriously concerned that they will become obsolete within 4-5 years, and more than three-quarters of executives (78 percent) feel threatened by digital startups, believing that businesses need some additional guidance.
