Google Allo: Google on Tuesday launched its smart messaging app Allo for desktops. But only those with an Android device can use it.
To start using Allo on your computer, you'll need to open Allo on your phone and then scan a QR code provided on the Allo website 
Some features will continue to be exclusive to mobile:
Connect, switch, or remove Google accounts
Add or remove members from an existing group
Back up your information
Notification and
Certain chat features, such as taking photos, deleting a conversation, blocking contacts, or starting conversations with someone who isn't in your contacts.
The company announced that iPhone users will soon be able to use Allo on their desktop.
Google recommends that Allo users update to the latest version for Android before using the web version.
Allo supports Google Assistant, an AI software that allows users to gather information from news, movies, restaurants, directions, and more.
Google also offers its users the Hangouts, Duo, and YouTube Chat communication apps.
