Best Buy has started selling unlocked Galaxy S8 and S8+ in the US, with prices starting at $724.99 for the Galaxy S8 and $824.99 for the Galaxy S8+. However, both smartphones will only be available in black.

The unlocked versions don't really bring much to the table and will be sold at the same prices in Samsung's US online store.
The Galaxy S8 comes with a 5.8‑inch Infinity Display and runs on Exynos 8895 or the latest Snapdragon 835 platform from Qualcomm, depending on the market. The internal battery of the Galaxy S8 is 3,000 mAh while the Galaxy S8+ is 3,500 mAh.
In reality the only differences between the two versions are the screen size and battery capacity. Specifically, the Galaxy S8+ features an Infinity screen 6,2 inches with dimensions 18: 5: 9, allowing the display of more content.
Additionally, the phones come with a primary 12MP camera and a secondary 8MP. They feature an exclusive physical button for Bixby even though the company has not yet released the voice command functionality for the virtual assistant. Samsung is expected to equip Bixby with voice commands by the end of summer. Orders are indeed expected to reach customers by the end of the week. It should be noted that Samsung has seen strong demand for the two smartphones in the US and other markets worldwide. Indeed, the Galaxy S8 is selling at faster rates compared to its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S7. In other news, within the next month we should also expect the Galaxy S8 Active.
