HMD announced three new Nokia -branded smartphones running Android at this year's Mobile World Congress event, and the company has already revealed that new premium devices will arrive later this year .
In a recent video, however, together with the Nοkia 8, another smartphone that had never been discussed before is presented. Therefore, in the new Nοkia smartphones series we encounter four devices ( Nοkia 3, Nοkia 5, Nοkia 8 and a new unsuspected device).
One of the devices looks a lot like the Nokia 6 but with a different rear camera setup, indicating that it could be the Nokia 7. The fourth smartphone offers a dual‑camera setup, so we are probably talking about the Nokia 8.
Another detail we can discern in the video is the 3.5 mm headphone jack on one of Nokia's phones – which means HMD Global does not wish to follow the practice of removing the jack as most smartphone manufacturers have done. Indeed, the Nokia 8 appears to have a metal and glass body as well as a USB port.
In the Nokia 9 we can also see the fingerprint scanner which appears to be integrated into the display, although we cannot say that with certainty. Also, the Nokia 9 is expected to have a 22MP sensor on the back and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
We should note that the video originated from a person who has worked closely with Nokia in recent years, thus adding weight to the authenticity of the shared information.
