LG officially unveiled the LG X Power 2 smartphone in February this year, and it looks like the company is ready to offer the device to its customers. LG has just announced the global rollout of the new smartphone.
LG will begin rolling out the LG X Power 2 smartphone this month in markets around the world, starting with Northern Europe, Latin America, and followed by Asia, Europe, Latin America, and other regions. LG did not reveal the price of this new smartphone, but stated that it is highly competitively priced.
The main selling point of the LG X Power 2 is definitely its 4,500mAh battery, as the device is aimed at users who spend a relatively long time on their phones, watching videos, movies or playing games. The battery inside the phone should last for 26 hours of talk time, 18 hours of video playback or 19 hours of web browsing, according to LG.
Moreover, the smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch HD touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, which does not consume as much battery and wants to make sure that users will still have power in their phones at the end of the day.
The front camera capacity is quite modest at 5MP with a wide-angle lens, Auto Shot and Gesture Interval Shot from LG. The 13MP rear camera features Zero Shutter Lag for fast image compression, as well as an LED.
But internals include a MediaTek MT6750 chipset and either 1.5GB or 2GB of RAM, depending on the market. Internal storage comes in at 16GB, expandable up to 256GB using a microSD. The LG X Power 2 is available in Titan Black, Shiny Titan, Shiny Gold, and Shiny Blue color options.
