The Cleveland Police Department is reportedly looking for a man named Steve “Stevie Steve” Stephens for the murder of an elderly man that was broadcast live on his Facebook page. In previous posts, he claimed he would commit “the Easter Massacre.”
Stephens' Facebook page has now been deleted. The video of the murder is still circulating online, but we will not be publishing it.
According to the Heavy website, during several posts lasting over four hours, Stephens claimed that he had killed 12 to 13 others and that he would not stop unless his mother or another woman took him on the phone.
At one point he writes, “I’m a #goodguy,” and continues, “I spent three years with this bitch… I wish we had never met.”
The killer forced the elderly man to say the woman’s name before killing him.
The police confirmed that the video was real and that the murder at 635 East 93rd Street. In a statement they issued they warn that the suspect is armed.
It is still unclear whether Stephens is responsible for the other murders he claims to have committed.
