Huawei Honor has introduced several powerful smartphones at affordable prices this year, one of them is the V9 which was released in February in China and now the company is considering starting imports in Europe.
The Honor V9 is set to debut in Europe under a different name that the company has yet to reveal, and we'll find out on April 5th when it's unveiled at an event planned for European consumers. Rumors suggest it will be called the Honor 8 Pro.
Huawei's new smartphone will be available in gold, blue and black. The Honor 8 Pro is a pretty impressive phone with 6GB of RAM and a 5.7-inch 2k display with Gorilla Glass 3 coating. It will be powered by an octa-core Kirin 960 processor clocked at 2.4GHz and will offer 64GB or 128GB of internal storage.
The smartphone will be powered by a 4,000mAh battery and will run on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with EMUI 5.0. It features a dual 12MP camera setup with f/2.2 aperture and sensors on the rear. What’s impressive about the device is that the enhanced black and white sensors of the camera are capable of processing images with three times the brightness. Honor claims that the dual camera is capable of capturing 3D images as well.
The phone is launching in China in multiple variants including 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. In China, the Honor V9 is priced at $377 to $508, prices that are likely to apply to the European market as well, although this has not been confirmed yet.
