European Cyber Security Challenge 2017 (ECSC '17)

The moment has arrived! The Ethihak competition is getting closer and closer!
Open positions are dwindling day by day and everything indicates that this year the contestants will be called upon to showcase their hidden talents in, what else, ethical hacking!
However, beyond the holding of Ethihak, the competition will also be the meeting point for this year's pan-European European Cyber Security Challenge 2017 (ECSC '17).
ECSC '16 – The Greek Team
Following last year's presence of the Greek team in Düsseldorf, Germany (ECSC '16) and the achievement of fifth place - a result that is considered completely satisfactory - this year's Greek delegation will try to do its best in Malaga, Spain from October 30 to November 3, 2017.

Last year's selection of the participants in the Greek team came from a nationwide preliminary competitive evaluation at the Department of Digital Systems of the University of Piraeus in July 2016. The formation of the team was coordinated by the company TwelveSec and the Department of Digital Systems of the University of Piraeus. The Greek mission was supported by the companies First Data and Encode with their sponsorship, while the contribution of the SecNews website, the BSides Athens community and the Department of Information & Communication Systems Engineering of the University of the Aegean was also significant.
The Greek team will be formed this year with a qualifying competition which will be announced soon.
