Clicking on a topic included in the service's lists displays all the programming courses and tutorials that match the topic you are looking for. The lists are sorted by the votes of users who have already used them, so you will find the highest quality seminars first in the list.
The new service gives every user with an account the right to upload a tutorial, and the community better rewards tutorials that are truly worthwhile.
Obviously, there is also the risk of abuse of the system, especially at this stage, where the votes are still below 50. However, this specific issue will cease to exist once the new service gains more visitors.
The website uses WordPress as its CMS and there seem to be issues with searching the site. For best results, you should browse the category list if you are looking for a course on a specific topic.
So while Hackr.io seems like a great idea, it currently faces issues that prevent it from being a truly useful service. We hope for improvements soon.
