Sony during is set to take part in and has already invited the media for a press conference on February 27. According to reliable sources, the giant will announce five brand new Xperia models the event.
It could be the smartphone manufacturer with the most launches as five new phones will be unveiled in the coming days. The same sources also reveal that Sony's flagship will be powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor, something that has not been confirmed yet, so we have to be cautious.
The report lists the codenames of the new phones, with the flagship being called Yoshino and featuring a 5.5-inch 4K display with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. It is likely to feature Sony's new IMX400 image sensor and 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM.

The Sony BlancBright is a premium smartphone with a 5.5-inch Quad HD display and 4GB of RAM. It is likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 835 or Snapdragon 653 processor and will feature Sony's IMX400 camera sensor.
The Sony Keyaki (Zelkova) is a mid-range smartphone with a 5.2-inch Full HD display, 4GB of RAM, and a MediaTek Helio P20 processor. It is rumored to feature 64GB of internal storage, a 23MP rear camera, and a 16MP front camera.
The Sony Hinoki is a low-end smartphone that will feature a 5-inch HD display, a MediaTek Helio P20 SoC processor, and 3GB of RAM. The internal storage can reach 32GB, while the rear and front cameras will be 16MP and 8MP respectively.
