German testing institute AV-TEST has conducted a new series of tests to determine the best antivirus solution for Windows 10 for business users.
Compared to testing conducted on solutions aimed at home users, these tests focused primarily on businesses running Windows 10 version 1607 (Anniversary Update).
According to the test results, only two antivirus solutions managed to get the maximum score: Bitdefender Endpoint Security and Kaspersky Small Office Security. Both received 6 out of 6 points for protection, performance and usability, and managed to accumulate a final score of 18 points.
Four security products that took part in the tests received 17 points each:
Trend Micro Office Scan, Symantec Endpoint Protection, Seqrite Endpoint Security, and Kaspersky Endpoint Security.
The worst score was given to Sophos Endpoint Security and Control, which received only 14.5 points, with 5 for protection, 3.5 for performance, and 5 for usability.
Microsoft managed to score 15 points, so its app doesn't seem to be the best out there, but it's not the worst either. Microsoft got 5 points for protection, 4 for performance, and 6 for usability.
Here we could say: There are worse things... or not worse things..
