A few days ago, images and a video of Nokia's new flagship, Nokia 8 , were leaked online . Many were excited by Qualcomm's "mistake" of showing a device powered by the new Snapdragon 835 at its CES booth.
Obviously those who were excited will be particularly saddened after today's denial from Qualcomm.
Qualcomm intervened and stated that while it does not disclose details, the publications about Nokia's upcoming device are not accurate.
The message came from Catherine Baker, Senior Director of Public Relations at Qualcomm, who also mentioned that these devices were their own and they use them to showcase the latest Snapdragon SoCs every year.
