Once again, SecNews is ahead of the curve on news and press releases. Yesterday we were the first to announce the Google Toontastic 3D app. Today, the company sent us the press release that you will find below:
The Toontastic 3D application gives children's inexhaustible imagination and creativity another dimension, as it is where our new little "heroes" are expected to take their first steps.
Today's digital applications and existing tools offer incredible opportunities to children, but also to those who... feel like children, to use their imagination and, with technology as an ally, to discover, explore and, most importantly, have fun!
In recent years, Google developers' close collaboration with educators has enabled the development of the necessary programs so that children can create through code, create their own Google Doodles, explore exotic landscapes through virtual reality, and even tour the Himalayas with a very friendly Yeti named Verne.
Today, Google is introducing its latest project for children, aiming to give voice to their imagination and transform devices into powerful tools for creating and learning creative skills.
With Toontastic 3D, children can draw and animate imaginary characters. They can also tell their own adventures, create their own heroes, or do anything else they imagine. At the same time, all of these possibilities can be utilized in their schoolwork.
All they have to do is "play" with the characters on the screen and create their own story. It's like a digital puppet theater, but with endless 3D interactive worlds, dozens of changing characters, 3D painting tools, and an ideas "workshop" with sample stories that will be the trigger for new creations.
Like the original Toontastic (released in 2011 and enthusiastically received by educators, children and parents around the world), Toontastic 3D allows children to create anything they want, including science books or school projects, short stories and cartoons.
Toontastic 3D is available for free today on phones, tablets and select Chromebooks, in the Google Play Store and iOS App Store. The app will encourage kids to sharpen their imaginations, invent and explore while developing skills for the creative jobs of the future – whether they dream of becoming filmmakers, teachers, designers, illustrators or simply want to explore the boundaries of their imagination.
The Google Toontastic 3D app is already available for free and is waiting for you to download it on the Google Play Store and iOS App Store.
