ASUS announced at CES 2017 in Las Vegas, the so-called Pro B9440, which is the company's latest laptop that comes with a premium design and powerful hardware.
First of all, what differentiates this laptop from other laptops is that it is essentially the lightest notebook in the world and ASUS has really made a good deal during today's presentation.
The device weighs 1.04 kg and looking at the size of the 14-inch screen with the very good bezels, it is quite clear that this is indeed one of the lightest laptops available on the market today.
Aimed specifically at the business sector, the Pro B9440 is so light because it's made of magnesium alloy, which is lighter and more durable, with ASUS trying and finally managing to fit a 14-inch display into a 13-inch laptop.
In terms of hardware, the laptop comes with pretty much the best you can find right now, although there's still room for improvement. For example, the laptop features Intel Core i5 and i5 processors (7th generation), up to 16GB of RAM (32GB would be much better, especially if it were optional), and a maximum storage of 512GB SSD.
The 14-inch full HD display should be enough to enjoy the best of Windows 10.
Last but not least, the laptop comes with a redesigned keyboard, as well as USB 2.0 and Type-C ports for connectivity purposes.
If we are to trust the figures provided by Asus, the laptop should provide up to 10 hours of battery life, but you should obviously expect it to be less especially if you run demanding applications.
