3D holograms are a relatively new technology, like Virtual Reality (VR), but their use is expanding.
From preparing live models for engineering, 3D hologram technology has quickly moved into our real lives. Political parties use 3D holograms of celebrities for their election campaigns and their use in physical security is unparalleled. Today, developers are creating 3D hologram apps for Android smartphones and when this happens, how can the adult entertainment industry remain apathetic? The camera site is introducing 3D porn holograms so that users can experience the “thrill” of the simulation from their laptop!
An adult website is moving in exactly that direction and is planning to bring 3D holograms of naked men/women right into your bedroom! 3D holograms have been touted as the next step in adult entertainment, along with VR, so CamSoda is making sure to get the first mover advantage in this area. It will be showcasing its 3D simulation at the Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas.
CamSoda claims that users who are not satisfied with watching adult films in two dimensions can order its products and get life-size 3D models directly in their bedroom. The 3D holograms are created with a high-tech kit of green screens and peripheral cameras, CamSoda claims. “We are excited to announce the launch of Holo-Cam, which allows users to interact with cam girls in an immersive experience like never before,” said Daron Lundeen, president of CamSoda.
For the uninitiated, Holography is the science and practice of creating holograms. Typically, a hologram is a photographic recording of a field of light, rather than an image formed by a lens, and is used to display a complete three-dimensional image of the object, which is visible without the aid of special glasses or other optical aids.
You can make cool 3D holograms using your Android smartphone and get an idea of this new technology.
