Samsung is certainly busy after the official discontinuation of the Galaxy Note 7 and investigating what caused the recall of one of its best smartphones. The South Korean smartphone maker is also working on the upcoming Galaxy S8, which is expected to be released in the first quarter of next year.
Some features of the upcoming smartphone have been leaked in recent weeks, and as it turns out, TechDroider has created a first render showing the phone's design. Samsung has reportedly made significant design changes to the upcoming Galaxy S8, which will apparently come in two variants.
TechDroider gives us an idea of what the upcoming phone could be like with a video that you will see at the end of the post.
The video clearly shows that the smartphone will not have a home button.
The fingerprint sensor will be located inside the display and there is a high possibility that users will be able to unlock their phones by touching any area of the display.
The Galaxy S8 will reportedly feature a dual camera setup on the back. Previous rumors have suggested that it could be powered by an Exynos 8895 chipset or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 SoC in some regions.
The Galaxy S8 is also expected to come with an iris scanner. Of course, we'll see when Samsung releases the new device. For now, watch the video.
