New Google Cardboard? At the event that Google is preparing on October 4th, we will see a very long list of new products: The two new Pixel phones, a new laptop and a new operating system, new Chromecast, Google Home, a new router and maybe a new tablet. 
But there is also something that will probably be presented before that date: an update for Google Cardboard.
The company posted a tweet from its UK account today:

The tweet is extremely cryptic, and so no one knows what's coming, especially so soon before the company's big event.
It's a bit odd that Google tweeted from its UK account with a wide range of dates rather than a single announcement date.
Of course, most of us are waiting for news about Google's new Daydream VR platform, which we heard about at the Google I/O conference in May.
We'll see. For now, it seems that Google hasn't completely abandoned Google Cardboard.
